Stella you are such an amazing little girl and I feel so very lucky that you are my daughter. You are a joy to be around and it is with awe that I watch you grow more and learn more each day. You are so funny and upbeat, so full of life and caring, so smart and creative. Thank you for making me a mother three years ago today. That is certainly the best gift ever and I hope that you will always know how much you mean to me. I love you so so much!!

Our new ride!!!

It's official...I'm a mom! And I have this cool new VW Routan to prove it!  :)  Yesterday when we got home from Indiana Randy opened the garage door to reveal this...

 I was like that crazy contestant who wins the car on a game show.  I ran to it and hopped inside to check it out.  I was yelling and laughing!  :)

Randy did and awesome job of finding and purchasing this van for his girls. I am so very appreciative!  It was one of the greatest suprises ever and I absolutely love it.

from the weekend

We had a busy weekend.  Saturday morning I ran in a 5k with some friends.  Stella, Ruby and Dad came to cheer me on. Someday I hope to be running these with my girls.

 Stella loves to help feed her sister.

 Sunday evening was a birthday party to celebrat 3 boys who all turned 1 within the same week.  We have such a big group of friends and are so lucky.  But this picture doesn't quite capture just how loud it was there.

 In all the loud chaos Ruby managed to get in her evening power nap.  She was in a really warm top and was burning up so I took that off to cool her down.  Little did I know she would pass out and I'd get a great photo! I love this precious little girl.

We are so excited to be flying to Indiana tomorrow to spend lots of time with family and friends. 

a really funny day

Ruby loves to laugh. And it's fairly easy to get her going. We are so thankful to have Stella as a big sister. It's been so fun to just watch Ruby watch Stella and smile and laugh at her.

Ab workout

Check out Ruby's new move.  She's doing some ab work here and should be sitting up in no time!  :)
Last night while watching one of Stella's favorites, Annie, she turned and said to me, "I wanna live in the t.v."  I knew she really liked this movie, but WOW!  If this girl is not on broadway someday I'll be suprised.
