green beans are yucky

Ruby likes to eat from a spoon these days.  She's really liking carrots.  I switched over to green beans one night and this was the reaction.

 Stella rode her tricycle yesterday and was able to pedal really well and steer at the same time.  It was a first.

Stella remains to be a very loving sister.  Though, I have a feeling that when Ruby is really able to move and get her hands on all of Stella's 'things' we'll have some problems.  Stella loves to have Ruby lay beside her in bed at night and I read to the girls.  What a wonderful feeling that always is.  Stella lays on the kisses and hugs pretty thick and quite often tells me how much she loves Ruby.

We've been putting Ruby in her high chair and she really likes sitting up and keeping an eye on everything.  This makes her look so much older though!  Slow down Ruby!!!! 

Our friends got together for Valentines Day and they all had a good time.  Our hostess, Nicole, made these heart envelopes for all the kids.  They decorated them and then passed out and collected V-day cards.  It was so sweet to see all the kids work together. 

These boys are turning one soon!  Aren't they adorable!!!!  Connor is the one looking up, Isaac the one in red.  You've never seen two more beautiful blue-eyed boys in all your life!

On Sunday we went downtown (Stella's favorite thing to do) and went out to dinner and stopped in our favorite gelato place for an after dinner treat.  Stella approached a little girl in the shop and said, "You sure have cute shoes."

This was Thursday, at 19 weeks old. You're seeing a shot of the aftermath of the first time Ruby rolled from back to tummy.  A big deal and I was very excited about it.  Landing on her tummy did not a happy baby make; she was in no mood for posing for a picture.  :)  She rolled this way several times today as well.  Yay Ruby!
We are looking forward to what's forecasted to be a very pleasant weekend here.  And the kids are healthy and feeling good again.

 First bites of rice cereal.  She did eat some, though I think it was out of interest rather than taste.  Her face really explains what she thought of it.

We've all been sick lately  and it seems we are all slowly but surely recovering!  Stella had an ear infection and me, well sinusitus.  Ruby has had just a cough and yucky nose thank goodness!  I've had her sleeping in her car seat for naps and night time.  And thank goodness for cool mist humidifiers.
